The Process

Boutique Design

Our designers are good listeners. When you first meet with your designer, they’ll find out exactly what you want to achieve. Only then, when they have a complete picture of your needs, will they suggest the best solution. With the expertise they’ve developed over many years of solving design problems, they’re likely to turn up a few insights and clever ideas that hadn’t occurred to you. Working closely with you, our designers will then create detailed plans and explain every detail and aspect of the design to you. Your design will incorporate the latest in modern architectural thinking and product and material specification.

Using the most up-to-date computer modeling software, we can show you how your home will look both inside and outside - and easily discuss with you options and alternatives.

The Process

Boutique Project Planning

Coordinating even the simplest renovation is a complex process. And certainly one you don’t want to take on yourself.

Every Boutique client is appointed a dedicated project coordinator and project site manager. It’s their job to make sure everything goes smoothly from the day the design is completed to the moment the last lick of paint is applied.

Your manager will advise on a start date, project milestones and finish date; and then do everything within their power to make sure they’re met. They’ll take the time to organise and ensure all the materials and trades people are ready and in place so we’re in your home for as short a time as possible.

Because Boutique is backed by WA’s leading builder, we can buy services and materials at the best possible prices. But, of course, we never compromise on quality. We use the best tradespeople and craftsmen in the business, matching them to your project. Your project coordinator will give you weekly project updates so you always know what’s happening and what to expect.

Minimal Disruption

If the idea of weeks or months of disruption is putting you off renovating or extending, forget it.

There are several ways we make sure that unnecessary building delays don’t happen. First comes clever project management and timetabling. Secondly, we always have a large pool of carefully-selected trades people and contractors on call to meet the deadline.

Trusted Trades

Then we choose our tradespeople very carefully. Not only are they experts at what they do, they’re polite, courteous and respectful. And they all carry Boutique-certified Trusted Trade ID.

Before we start work, we’ll take a careful look around your home and advise you what needs to be removed or secured to make sure no unnecessary breakages happen.

Taking Care Of Your Home

We will build temporary protection walls and doors to help seal the rest of your home from dirt and dust. We’ll make sure your home is water tight, secure and your services are always working after each day’s work - and we’ll even put in a temporary hot water system if you need it.

If we’re remodeling your bathroom, we can supply a mobile courtesy bathroom complete with shower, basin, and toilet.

Temporary Kitchens and Bathrooms

If we are renovating your kitchen, you won’t have to live on takeaways. We can install a temporary kitchen until the new one is ready. It includes everything you need: a sink, cooktop, convection microwave and hot water system, so you can still enjoy a home-cooked meal with the minimum of fuss.

For those clients planning a very large-scale renovation, we have a service to help you find temporary rental accommodation, storage facilities and a furniture removal service.

We are also committed to the environment, adopting a policy to regularly clean worksites using recycled waste bins.
